Great backpack that could stand a few updates
Overall, it's a ThinkTank—it's solid strong, super comfy no matter how heavy your load is, and looks so clean. Here's where I'd like to see some improvements: 1. Allow for an extra 5L expansion (zipper perhaps?) to 25 L or sell a larger 30 L bag; 2. Allow backpack to stay upright when set on ground—this is one of my biggest gripes for backpacks, I want mine to stay upright. When it falls down, it gets dirty, it's hard to pack stuff into it, etc.; 3. The side pockets are cool for hiding typical side pocket stuff (eg, water bottles) but once you've put a water bottle or other items in these pockets, they eat into the available space inside. I use my backpack as an EDC and regularly carry a 3" binder—no way I can use the side pockets for a water bottle, whereas if it were on the outside, I could carry water bottles. There should be an option to allow for outside carry; 4. The side pockets are not lockable so zipping it down and stealing stuff is not too difficult; 5. The main pocket zippers and laptop zippers do not fully open all the way down, making easy access difficult; 6. Front pocket (the soft, fabric-lined one) is nice but pretty shallow and doesn't go down very far (~4.25"). I'm a ThinkTank fan—I own the Production Manager 40 v2, BackLight 36 L (the BEST ThinkTank backpack I own), StreetWalker Rolling Backpack v2, and the Rotation 180 50 L—but I think they missed the mark on this slightly.

Venturing Observer 20L
Excellent! The Venturing Observer 20L is by far the best backpack I've ever owned. Tons of secret pockets to place one's belongings. Great deep sleeve pockets for storing a laptop, files and other assorted items - - efficiently! Plus, it wears well on my back, and makes me look good. Thank you to all my friends at Think Tank Photo. BTW, the THINK TANK t-shirt is now one of my favorites. I even get compliments when I'm wearing it.
